EASTER AT WAYPOINT FAQ's

Please reach us at info@waypointpeople.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We’re offering two Easter services at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Both services are identical, so come to whichever time works best for you and your family.

Absolutely! Easter at Waypoint is designed for the whole family. We’ll have engaging worship, a life-giving message, and a fun, safe kids experience for children of all ages.

Come as you are! Some people dress up for Easter, others come in jeans and a t-shirt. You’ll fit right in no matter what you wear.

Waypoint Kids is a fun, secure environment where kids learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way. Our trained team creates a welcoming experience with worship, activities, and lessons your kids will love.

Waypoint Students meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm. The Wednesday following Easter, on April 8th, Waypoint Students will be hosting their MVMNT Night. They will be having raising canes, dirty soda bar, mechanical bull, prizes, great worship, a powerful message, and so much more! Anyone in 6th-12th grade will NOT want to miss this!

We will have designated handicap parking at the front and the side of the building. We have one main parking lot that serves our entire church.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says when someone becomes a Christian, they become a brand new person inside. A new life has begun. Your new relationship with God is up to you, but we are here to help. Start attending services regularly, being in an atmosphere where worship and God’s Word is being proclaimed will affect your life drastically. You should also attend one of our small groups geared to help you begin living for God and point you in the right direction.

You’re welcome here. Waypoint is a place for real people, no matter where you are in life or faith. Easter is a great time to experience church for the first time.

100% yes. Easter is one of the best Sundays to invite someone to church. Whether they’ve never been to church or haven’t been in a long time, Easter at Waypoint is a welcoming and meaningful experience.

Church is more than a place we go...it’s a family of people pursuing God together. This Easter, take a moment to invite someone in your life to experience it with you. You never know what God might do through a simple invitation. Even if they can’t come, the seed of hope has still been planted.

EXTENDING THE INVITE

On the first Easter morning, Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb and asked, “Who are you looking for?” (John 20:15). The question was not for Him, but as an invitation for her to see He was the answer. Easter is a great opportunity to invite someone in your life to experience Jesus.

Whether you already have someone in mind to invite this Easter or not, take time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show you who to reach out to. As names and faces come to mind, jot them down and pray for opportunities to invite them. Trust that God is already working in their hearts and preparing the way for them to experience the love of Jesus.

One of the easiest and most personal ways to invite someone to Easter is simply by asking them in person. The next time you’re with someone you’d like to invite, ask if they have plans for Sunday, April 5th and invite them to join you at church. Hand them an invite card so they have the details, and consider making plans to grab lunch after the service to spend time together and talk about the service.

If you won’t see someone before Easter, a simple phone call, or text, can go a long way. Let them know you were thinking about them and invite them to join you for church. Share the service details and offer to grab a meal afterward so you can spend some time together.

Social media is a great way to extend an invitation this Easter. Share our Easter posts, tag friends who you’d love to see there, or by sliding into their DM's by sending a post or a message. You can also invite people through our Facebook event or comment and tag someone on our posts. A simple tag, share, or message could be the invitation that brings someone to church this Easter.

This Easter, simply be obedient to invite the people God places on your heart. Pray about who to reach out to, extend the invitation, spend time connecting afterward over a meal, and trust God with the rest as He works in their heart.
