Life Groups

Our goal is to connect every Waypoint person to one Life Group to build community outside the church walls and to provide a opportunity to introduce them to some of our amazing Waypoint People.

Proverbs 27:17, which states "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," emphasizes the positive impact of interaction and mutual influence between individuals. It highlights the idea that through engaging with others, particularly in meaningful relationships, individuals can grow, improve, and become more refined in their character and abilities. 

Life Groups are visioned to be places to connect and support each other. We want our Waypoint People to establish and build relationships. We want these groups to be organic, real, challenging, and supportive. This isn't discipleship, this is fellowship, but we also don't want to hinder the opportunity for the group to pray over one another at these Life Groups or talk about what God has been stirring and doing in your life.

Technically yes you may join any Life Group, however, there may be a space cap due to the size of houses hosting a Life Group. We also encourage joining and sticking to one Life Group. If you'd like to have more opportunities to connect with those in your Life Group outside of the one or two times a month we meet, invite them over to your house or dinner or somewhere fun!

We are always open to starting up more Life Groups, however, we ask that those who want to join a Life Group attend a Life Group for a duration of _ months to fully understand what it means to lead one.

Everyone is welcome to any Life Group whether you have kids or not. However, we want your kids to connect with other kids so we give you heads up on what Life Group is more "kid-friendly" and which ones are more "empty nesters". We recommend keeping that in mind as you select what Life Group is right for you.

The vision Pastor Jeremy shared for Life Groups included a goal which is to open at least one Life Group in every community throughout Justin and it's surrounding cities/towns.
